All-star game and the Oscars

I didn't watch much of the all-star game, as I had more interest in the Oscars and I was with my girlfriend. Now while I know the game means nothing, how many times does a man have to fail before he begins to doubt himself? Yes, I'm talking about LeFraud, I mean LeBum, pardon me LeChoke. This guy just seems to freeze in certain situations. Of course tonight's situation pales in comparison to a playoff game, but is failure in his head?

I did read that on the play where LeBron turned the ball over Carmelo Anthony was open. So there's good news for Knicks' fans. LeBron was the goat and Melo wasn't. And don't worry, there will be plenty of times in the second half of the season for Melo to fail in the big spot. I wonder if LeBron saw him and just opted to throw the ball elsewhere. No surprise the East would lose with Melo on the team. I'm not serious, so don't get your panties in a bunch. Melo is a cancer but nobody plays D in this game until the end. Melo actually played well and I even saw him try on defense in the last minute against Kevin Durant. Durant scored but Melo was with him and in his face.

Kobe 'the white woman violator' Bryant passed Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list in the all-star game. This was Bryant's 14th game, while Jordan only played in 13, so if you do the math Jordan still averages more points per game, Bryant just played more games. The record means as much as the game; I just have to defend the greatest of all-time time and let the facts show Jordan still owned the game more. Jordan was even phased out in his first game by that half a fag Isiah Thomas. I don't hate Kobe anymore, now I just joke. The reality is Kobe is great, just not the greatest.

Billy Crystal is just so good at hosting the Oscars. Say what you want about his career, he just makes the show that much more enjoyable to watch. How about the audio issues? My girlfriend and I noticed it early on. It was mic feedback. I posted on Facebook and others noticed too. Come to find out people were tweeting about it. It sounded like someone was hitting a touch-tone phone button in the back of each person as they spoke. It was quite annoying and I'm surprised they couldn't fix it. I'd like to assume they knew about it, considering certain celebs were tweeting about it.

I'm not a movie expert and won't claim to be some critic. I didn't even see the majority of the movies nominated. In fact, I had no idea 'The Artist' was a silent film. As soon as I learned that was the case I told my girlfriend it would win best picture, and it did. Now I want to see it. Very unique indeed.

The buzz on the net is about the uncertain nip slip of J-Lo. Was it a nip slip or a shadow? hmmmmm
