State of the union address

I wanted to thank everyone who reads this blog. I am not selling out and will not abandon the blog, but I have been hired to write for a website. http://www.faniq.com/

Whatever I write there I will link here. I will also go back to doing what people tell me they enjoy most--my twisted sense of humor. Whatever I am thinking sports related, no matter how inappropriate, I will post here.

With that said, did anyone hear about Phil Hughes saying he thought he pitched better last night? Good news is he didn't get bombed, but he still labored and gave up 4 earned runs in just 5 and two-thirds innings. Perhaps the Yankees can give Hughes a gun and tell him it would be in their best interest if they can examine his brain, based on his conclusions that he pitched better.
